Davis Kinard is a continuously growing accounting and audit firm located in Abilene, Texas. The company was established with the merger of two well-known accounting firms in 1971: Ben M. Davis & Company, Abilene's first CPA (1926) and public practice accounting firm (1929), and Kinard & Company. The merger created an accounting firm unlike others in its field.

Davis Kinard's audit, accounting and tax departments have an outstanding reputation. The firm has also expanded its services, offering services typically not provided by a traditional accounting firm. These include an extensive financial institution internal audit department, cost segregation, business valuation, and litigation support. With these services, Davis Kinard is able to provide clients with one source for their financial needs and advice.

Davis Kinard’s knowledgeable and experienced staff members are highly trained, and maintain an excellent reputation in their field. Currently, there are more than 90 employees, including 8 shareholders, 10 managers, and 34 professional staff.

All CPA firms that perform engagements in audits, reviews, or compilations are required to undergo a peer review every three years.
